🌍 الورشة الافتتاحية لمشروع تعزيز القدرة على التكيف مع تغير المناخ في مواجهة ندرة المياه والفيضانات في دلتا تبن

نظّمت وحدة تغيّر المناخ بوزارة المياه والبيئة، بالشراكة مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية، وبدعمٍ من صندوق التكيف، الورشة الافتتاحية لمشروع تعزيز القدرة على التكيف مع تغير المناخ في مواجهة ندرة المياه والفيضانات في دلتا تبن، وذلك بتاريخ 28 أكتوبر 2025 في فندق كورال – عدن.

شهدت الورشة مشاركة ممثلين عن الوزارات الوطنية والجهات الرسمية وعدد من أصحاب المصلحة، وهدفت إلى عرض الهدف العام للمشروع المتمثل في تعزيز قدرة السكان وأنظمة الموارد المائية في دلتا تبن على الصمود أمام آثار تغير المناخ.

تضمّن العرض التقديمي للمشروع أربعة مكونات رئيسية:
1. الإدارة المتكاملة والشاملة للموارد الطبيعية لتحقيق أنظمة مائية مرنة في مواجهة تغير المناخ.
2. تعزيز القدرة التكيفية لقطاع المياه لتحسين استجابته للتغيرات المناخية.
3. تطبيق ممارسات ابتكارية للتكيف في أنظمة إمداد المياه.
4. تعزيز الملكية المحلية وبناء القدرات لرفع الوعي وتمكين المجتمعات من الاستجابة بفعالية لتغير المناخ.

كما ناقشت الورشة الهيكل الإداري للمشروع، بما في ذلك أدوار ومسؤوليات وحدة تنفيذ المشروع، واللجنة التوجيهية، واللجنة الفنية الاستشارية، لضمان التنسيق والمساءلة الفعّالة.

واختُتمت الفعالية بعرض نظام المتابعة والتقييم والتعلّم، وآليات إدارة المخاطر، وتبادل المعرفة، بما يعزز من عمليات التعلم التكيفية والشفافية طوال فترة تنفيذ المشروع.

🌍 Inception Workshops of Increasing the Climate Change Resilience
to Water Scarcity and Flooding in Tuban Delta 🇾🇪

The Climate Change Unit at the Ministry of Water and Environment, in partnership with the UN-Habitat and with the support of the Adaptation Fund, organized the inception workshop for the project “Increasing the Climate Change Resilience
to Water Scarcity and Flooding in Tuban Delta”
The workshop was held on 28 October 2025 at Coral Hotel – Aden.

The event was attended by representatives from national ministries, government entities, and various stakeholders. It aimed to present the overall goal of the project — to strengthen the resilience of local communities and water resource systems in Tuban Delta against the impacts of climate change.

The project presentation outlined four main components:

1. Integrated and holistic management of natural resources to establish climate-resilient water systems.
2. Enhancing the adaptive capacity of the water sector to improve its response to climate change and variability.
3. Implementing innovative adaptation practices in water supply systems.
4. Strengthening local ownership and capacity building to raise awareness and empower communities to effectively respond to climate change.

The workshop also discussed the project’s management structure, including the roles and responsibilities of the Project Implementation Unit, Steering Committee, and Technical Advisory Committee, to ensure effective coordination and accountability.
